Desktop app releases
The desktop app's versions, newest first, each with what changed and its files. They are at downloads.tokaware.com, every release in a folder named for its version with SHA256SUMS.txt to check a download against; the download buttons always fetch the newest.
Tokaware 0.19.0
Released October 2, 2026.
The first version under the name Tokaware: the app was called AI Cooldown up to 0.18.0. A copy installed as AI Cooldown does not update itself to Tokaware: install Tokaware, and it goes on with what AI Cooldown kept on the computer, its accounts, sign-in, settings and history. On Windows it installs over AI Cooldown; on macOS, move AI Cooldown to the Trash once Tokaware is in Applications; on Linux, delete AI Cooldown's AppImage.
The Tokaware dashboard as an app on your own computer, with what the website cannot do under This machine: switch which account the Claude Code and Codex CLIs are logged in with, and say hello on a schedule so a 5-hour window starts before you need it. Claude app chats moves the Code tab chats the Claude app keeps per account to the account you use now, a few or all at once, with Undo.
Sign in with your tokaware.com account to see the same accounts as on the website, or stay a guest and keep everything on your computer. Signed in, Connect this computer puts it on the Team page with its Claude Code and Codex sessions, their projects and token usage; you choose whether sessions may be started or continued on it from the browser, and whether what they say reaches the website.
Closing the window keeps it running in the tray (the Dock on macOS), so scheduled hellos keep going and a notification says when a limit resets, crosses 90% or runs out. Installed for yourself, it opens at login, straight to the tray, and keeps itself up to date: a new version downloads in the background and installs when the window closes (on macOS, a notification says one is out). Installed for everyone with the MSI or the PKG, whoever installed it installs each new version.
The files are not code-signed yet: on Windows, SmartScreen may say it protected your PC (click More info, then Run anyway); on macOS, allow the app once in System Settings, Privacy & Security, after copying it to Applications.
